Slick Metal Primer -Red Oxide is an oleo resinous metal primer containing rust-inhibiting pigments for extra protection for iron and steel. It is the most commonly used metal primer for use in an oil-based painting system. It has good adhesion and provides a tough film over steel where surface preparation by blasting is impractical or prohibited. The primer is highly effective for interior and exterior use.
